So I have absolutely no laptop right now thanks to my breaking my charger. *tear* so im testing out my wordpress app. Lol

And by the way I have noooo idea how this is going to turn out. I am unable to format the post how I want. Hmph. The pictures (for now) will have no captions.

Hopefully, by next saturday, I will have better luck with the laptop (as in I will have a charger). In the mean time, I can’t even link up!!!! :(

Saturday, I went shopping.  It was 62 degrees out, which is odd for Oregon this time of year.  It was also windy as He!!, and i fought with the shopping cart walking out to my car.  Broke 2 nails fighting that sucker to the car.  Clearly, the shopping cart won….

Sunday, I ate spagetti-o’s out of a can.  THAT brought back memories.  Cold Spaghetti-o’s.. Yummers!

Monday, the fog barely hid the sun from view.  Gorgeous though, isn’t it?

Thursday, we got into the holiday spirit with some Frosty the Snowman.  People at work despised my singing. Mwahaha!

Konnor’s Christmas program was also on Thursday.  He wore a tie. *LOVE*  Ariana wanted to sing with her brother, so she tried running up there to be with him. Haha

Through my Weekly Recap {Android Pics} Meme, I managed to find a fun little blog hop that is running from now until Christmas night.  It’s called “Show Me Your Tree” and it’s pretty self-explanatory.  You just… post pictures of your Christmas tree.  Click on the button below to head to the hostess of this fun blog hop to link up or see other trees around the world…

Show Me Your Tree

So without further ado, here is our {super lame} Christmas tree.  Yes it is fake.  Yes, it is pre-lit.  Yes, we have just a few blue and silver balls on it.  Yes, it is crooked.  But it is ours.  And ours alone.  Next year I vow to have a real tree, because this one is pretty depressing.  Lol.  The kids don’t notice like I do, though.

{note: the fancy pictures to make up for the lameness}

This week was almost as boring as last week.  Almost…. And yet, I ended up with less pictures…. Hmph

Sunday:
Downed TreeIMAG0529

A downed tree in our neighborhood thanks to a windstorm and cuddling in bed with Konnor & Ariana’s toys.  You know you’re a mom when….

Monday:
IMAG0532IMAG0537
Christmas tree decorating after work.  Konnor did it all (and yes my tree is totally crooked.  Ugh, I don’t want to talk about it. lol).  Ariana wanted nothing to do with the decorating or the picture-taking.  She was being a grumpy monkey.

Tuesday:
IMAG0592
Yeah, all I took a pic of on Tuesday were my eyes.  I was happy with my make up day and not so happy with the bags under my eyes.  Eh.  Welcome to my life as a full-time working Mommy.

Wednesday:
IMAG0564IMAG0623
A pretty sunrise on my way to work.  Really, it was just pretty clouds as the sunrise was an hourish earlier, but you catch my drift.  And then, I get a call at about 5:10pm’ish wondering why the slow cooker is leaking.  Justin tried to make ribs, but didn’t put the ceramic pot into the slow cooker.  Yes, he literally put the ribs and BBQ sauce right into the cooker.  Oye vey.  Still not sure if it will recover. *facepalm*

Thursday:
IMAG0585IMAG0589IMAG0626
Stressed at work, talking to customers (that says enough, right?)  My ride home from work (yes I took a pic while driving!).  When I got home, I decided I needed some Peanut Butter Rice Krispie Treats, so I made them!

Friday:
IMAG0594IMAG0595-1
Friday = payday!!!! So I treated myself to some Chipotle (drool-a-licious) and also bought Eclipse and Inception for the house!  We watched Inception Friday night and it was AWESOME!!! Just sayin…

Saturday:

Some mirror fun and then some good ol’ sibling rivalry.

If you head over to A Good Life, you will find the HQ of this fabulous meme, plus you can grab the code so that you can link up, too!  I suggest you do it ~ this is so much fun and you get to show off the events of the week.

Saturday again, huh?  Hmph.  The days pass too fast these days.  This past week wasn’t too exciting, but here we go.. Oh and just a warning, my sister and I found my “distortion” effect on my phone today, and had a bit too much fun with that. Oye!

Sunday… Apparently my daughter wants to be Tarzan, or maybe Jane??
IMAG0338

Monday was a boring, foggy day.  I worked. Boo!  Yeah, I totally took a blurry, crappy picture of the fog on my way to work.  The one on the right I took after I got to work. Haha.
IMAG0346IMAG0347

Tuesday?  Another boring day, but dinner was yummy!  Chicken enchiladas with broccoli/cheese on the side.  Weird combo, I know, but broccoli is seriously Ariana’s favorite vegetable ever!!! And, since she was a sick baby who didn’t want to eat, I had to make something that she would eat.
IMAG0379 IMAG0371

Wednesday?  Continuance on the sick day for Miss Ariana.  Fabulous.  She did manage to find the Cheetos, though.  Oh man, she is a handful, even when sick!
IMAG0397IMAG0389IMAG0394

Thurday…. So little happened, the only pic I got was from getting stuck at the railroad crossing on my way to work.  Thankfully, it’s only our public transportation train, so the way was less than 30 seconds.
IMAG0421

Friday was “Civil War” day at work, so I willingly sported some of my Ducks gear for the occasion.. Oh, and traffic sucked so bad, I got to take pics of the sunset.
IMAG0425IMAG0432

Now Saturday was a good day indeed!  Civil War, hanging out with the family.  We discovered the “distortion” effect on my phone, and laughed ‘till we cried.  The following are just a few of the pics we took… Ohmigosh!! Hahaha…
IMAG0501IMAG0491IMAG0466

And then some random Saturday pictures that aren’t so scary!  My sister, me, and the cranky Ariana
IMAG0475

I laughed so hard I cried…
IMAG0520

Oooooooooooooo!!!!!!!…

Okay okay, enough!!  Have a great week, everyone!! See you here next Saturday for another installment! =)

If you follow me on Twitter or have me as a friend on Facebook, or simply a friend of mine in the flesh, then it is no secret that I am an Oregon Ducks fan.  I take pride in the love that I have for the Ducks.  I cheer them on during every game (sometimes annoyingly so).  I have been to games.  I wear clothing and jewelry sporting their logos.  Simply put, #iLoveMyDucks.

Recently, I was asked why.  Not in a mean or hateful or “oh-my-gosh-why-or-how-could-you-like-football-college-football-and/or-that-team” sort of why.  Just a simple question by someone fascinated with the passion I have for this team.

smileTo be honest, it started, for me, in 6th grade.  I had this teacher who was a total Oregon Beavers fan (for those that are unaware the Ducks and Beavers are HUGE rivals), and boy was he passionate about his team.  I had watched college football with my dad before, and knew about the Duck/Beaver rivalry.  Don’t get me wrong, this man is/was an amazing teacher, I just wanted to go against him.  Seems reasonable, right?

Thus flourished my love for the Ducks.

It has stuck ever since. (So has mine and the teacher’s personal Duck/Beaver rivalry.  I used to cover his Beaver posters in his classroom with my own Ducks variation)

There have been ups and downs since then, as with anything else in life, including sports teams.  Good seasons, bad seasons, mediocre seasons.  There have been moments that the Ducks have put me on cloud 9, only to have my heart shattered in the same season.

That’s the way it goes.

Despite their victories and losses, I have never faltered from my loyalty to the Oregon Ducks.  They have always been my favorite, and the only team in college football or the NFL that can keep my attention.  Because of my loyalty and passion for the Ducks, my entire family are Ducks fans.  We watch as many games as we can together, we talk highs and lows of the season between games, and are always sporting Ducks gear – year around.18846_1187851851725_1091160865_30419910_6218705_n

My team.  Forever.

Last year, we made it all the way to the Rose Bowl.  What an accomplishment.  We didn’t gain that title, but we became the champs in our own conference – the Pac10.

This year the Ducks are 12-0.  Now 2-time Pac 10 champions on our way to the BCS national championship game in Arizona on 1/10/2011.  This after an intense start to our 114th Civil War game against the Oregon State Beavers. We pulled out a 37-20 victory.

I am over the moon!!! Beyond happy and in such awe that my team, the Oregon Ducks, will be contending for their first ever national championship!!

Today is an amazing day to be a Duck!!!
