I lost of my best friend from kindergarten when I was 16. We knew she was sick for a long time but it was very sudden. She has an ongoing fight with a disease much like your friend. I am so sorry for your loss Alex, but look at how wonderful you are. Her memory will always be with you!

Losing a friend is excruciating pain and I can’t imagine how it felt being so young and not truly understanding or being able to grasp death. She definitely watches over you and your beautiful family.

Alex, I am so, so sorry. It really is so hard to comprehend death at 10 years old – at any age really, but to lose your best friend must have been incredibly painful. She is lucky to have you in her short life. It sounds like you had some wonderful times together, and I know she is watching over you. You will never know what might have been, but I’ll bet she would be just like you imagine her…
